Class Descriptions

Above the Belt:  This 30 minute toning class uses a variety of equipment to focus on your arms and abs. 

Body Shaping:  This full body toning class utilizes weights, resistance bands, stability balls and more to challenge your muscles and increase strength while conditioning the entire body.

Cardio Fusion:  Burn fat and improve cardiovascular fitness! This workout focuses on burning calories through heart rate training. This class incorporates agility movements, cardio conditioning, and strength training to work your body to the maximum and boost that metabolism.

Cardio-Sculpt:  Tone up and shape up! This class is energizing and will get you moving. You will move from cardio machines to cardio exercises with ease and feel the burn. Trim those extra pounds while having fun!

Cycle 30:  This 30-minute cycling class is a great way to get a quick, intense workout.  This class is also great for beginners to cycling who prefer to start out with a shorter class.  Bring a towel, and get ready to sweat!

Hip Hop:  A high energy dance class designed to teach coordination, strength, quickness, and endurance.  (For Ages 5-10)

Indoor Cycling:  The ultimate indoor cycling challenge designed to simulate a variety of terrain and training techniques guaranteed to get your heart pumpin’ and your legs churnin’! The energy and enthusiasm is contagious! So sit back, hang on and enjoy the ride to great tunes along side great comrades! All levels … First timers come 10 minutes early and inform instructor.

Pilates:  Connect yourself with your inner strength while improving posture & joint mobility. This class focuses on stabilization of the torso; recruiting abdominal muscles & transferring that energy to innervate & strengthen the limbs through a series of movements that will both challenge you physically & mentally.  Based on deep diaphragmatic breathing techniques & precision and flow of physical movements, pilates helps to increase muscle stamina and develop a strong foundation to rebalance the rest of the body.

Power Pump:  Power Pump is a strength training class using the barbell system.  The simplicity of this class makes it a great starting point to develop strength and confidence.

Power Yoga:  Based on the classical and original system called ashtanga, Power Yoga is a complete mind and body workout that develops concentration and reduces stress. With its focus on mindful breathing and body heat, Power Yoga goes beyond the relaxation benefits of traditional yoga to offer a route to health and fitness that athletes of all levels will embrace.

Quick Fit:  Short on time?!?  This toning class will get you in-and-out in 30-minutes.  Strengthen your upper and lower body in a short, fun-filled workout.

Silver Sneakers:  Silver Sneakers is a fun, energizing program that helps older adults take control of their health by encouraging physical activity.

Silver Sneakers Cardio Circuit:  This class combines fun with fitness to increase your cardiovascular and muscular endurance power with a standing circuit workout.

Silver Sneakers YogaStretch:  YogaStretch will move your whole body through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses.  Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of postures designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement.  Restorative breathing exercises and a final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity.

Simply Yoga:  Beginner to Intermediate level.  Safe and gentle workout that can also be challenging.  The instructor’s calming voice and soothing style merge with the ancient art of Yoga to make this class the perfect way to build strength and flexibility, relieve stress, and promote peace, harmony, health and well being.

Step:  Step Aerobics at it’s best!  Fresh music and creative choreography will make your hour of cardio fly by!

Turbo Kick:  No equipment needed! Turbo kick is the ultimate cardiovascular challenge complete with Muay-Thai sport specific warm-ups/cool-downs, bouts of intense intervals, easy to follow combinations & kickboxing specific strength/endurance training.

Zumba:  High energy and motivating music with unique moves and combinations will allow you to dance away your worries!

Zumba Toning:   The party continues!  This dance ‘n’ tone class will help build coordination and muscular endurance.

15 Minute Abs:  Don’t expect 15 minutes of just crunches!   This class uses a variety of equipment and the latest moves to tone up those core muscles.
